There is a winter storm all around us....yet the sun still shines on all of us.
Brave the storms of life and watch the sun come out.
Wishing you all safety and peace within the storm,

Hey there Giants and Patriots Fans!!!!! I wrote this after the work I did with the Giants, Patriots, Eagles and Saints from 2000-2002. Enjoy the game! Excerpts from my book, Touched By People, Places and Things.... Spirit of the Super Bowl You are "Giants" not because of how tall you are or how big you are or even how loud your bark is but because of how big you dream. You are "Patriots" not because you serve this country but because you serve a God of your understanding or a Higher Power. You are "Saints" not because of religion but because of spirit. You are "Eagles" not because you can fly but how beautiful you glide in the sky. What is the spirit of your personal Super Bowl? Same time next year........

Titles from “Touched By People, Places and Things”…… The Heart and Soul One beats while the other quietly stores the very essence of who you are Many will never experience getting into either of them Both lie deep within Two secret places and things within all of us Where the spirit lives and the God of our understanding dwells One dies while the other lives on forever Neither exempt from pain and turmoil The most treasured things that one possesses One stores pain while the other one restores faith to heal the pain Something greater than us knows better than anyone else One has a protective shield around it but the other is too deep to even get to One can be repaired, rebuilt, removed, restarted or replaced and the other is simply renewed and at rest People will be remembered and defined by both They can be so cold or like gold You cannot hide from either of them Feel the joy and the pain It’s possible to have one without the other Both tell the greatest story ever told The keys to who you really are The challenge is—do you know how you would like to be remembered and defined by both? Can’t have one without the other………

9/11......My sister's birthday....a day the world will never forget! Excerpts from my book with peace, love and honor in memory of my sister's birthday and over 3,000 people who lost their lives senselessly. 9/11 It was always a great day for me This was the day my sister was born The day was simple just because of that In 2001, it became the day the world would never forget A tragic time that changed the way we trust, act and feel The day the Twin Towers crumbled On this day there was no black or white Just people mourning everywhere I was evacuated onto Boerum Street At the tip of the bridge As I exited the Brooklyn Criminal Court building I stepped into what looked like the Twilight Zone I coughed as the black smoke chocked me, took my breath away Fear set in as I remembered that my mother was down there in the moments of impact I was lost for words and all cried out All i could do was pray and pray some more I called my sister to say happy birthday and that there was no news about our mother We cried together on the phone and I knew my sister's birthday would never be the same Days later I was asked to conduct grief counseling with the NY Giants This was in honor of my earlier work with the team I saw grown men cry and was sad with them As we all mourned the loss--together For years my sister did not celebrate her birthday I am happy that that has now changed Whatever you remember about that day Wherever you were on this day Remember and reflect on the unforgotten spirits and souls that the world will never forget Gone but not forgotten....September 11, 2001

For anyone caught in the grips or feeling smothered by an Umbilical Cord....Cut it and be free. Excerpts from Touched By People, Places and Things........ The Umbilical Cord Cut, clamped and set free The only thing left that symbolizes its existence is an "innie or outie" as the navel forms But what happens to it? How many other ones exist on the outside world that bind and tie us down? Cords that wrap around us like a protective shield At some point every one of them should be cut Don't you want to be free? They appear in the form of bad relationships, jobs, people, places and things in our lives We are tied to them because we are scared to cut them loose Keep the spiritual one that grounds you This one is a good one Hold on to it as it connects you to something greater than you or me Cut the rest loose

For Amy Winehouse.....RIP where there is no more addiction, hurt, pain, shame or sadness. Celebrate her life, be touched by her music! Excerpts from my book, "Touched By People, Places and Things" (page 89). Sunrise, Sunset We are all born with a purpose Born into two different settings Sunrise is the day we enter the world The mystery is everything that now lies in between The first process in which we cry to celebrate the birth of a person Does the sun really come out? Sunset is the day we leave this world All we leave behind is how we lived and how we treated others This is the process in which we should celebrate the life of a person But where did the sun go? Sunrise, Sunset
